OUR STORY

Founded in 2022 by Tee Wilson, B.E. Academy for Girls (B.E.A.) is a project-based, culturally responsive, STEAM-focused school for girls in grades 5-12.

The mission of B.E.A. is to prepare girls with the education, skills, mentorship, access, opportunities, and social emotional support they need to transition from dependent learners to independent thinkers. Through a STEAM focused, project-based, curriculum, we are preparing our girls to thrive in college, career, entrepreneurship and life.

Your support of JUST ONE GIRL can make a huge impact.

Help us close the tuition gap for our students.

The Just One Girl Scholarship Campaign is built on a simple truth: sometimes all it takes is one opportunity to change a girl’s life forever. At B.E. Academy, each of our students has a $3,000 tuition gap that must be covered to ensure she can learn, lead, and thrive in a safe, culturally responsive, STEAM-focused environment.

Your donation helps bridge that gap. It provides a girl with the education she deserves, the community she needs, and the confidence to step boldly into her future. When you give, you’re not just funding tuition—you are investing in her purpose, her power, and her path to becoming exactly who she was created to be.

Because changing the world truly starts with just one girl.

STEM and THE ARTS

B.E.A. will reduce academic and career disparities for young women who pursue a careers in STEM and the arts through access, representation, and a hands-on curriculum.

Our
Impact

B.E.A. is not your typical private school. It is a private non-profit. 65% of B.E.A.’s students come from under-served and under-resourced communities. B.E.A. offers a personalized educational experience to girls who otherwise would not have access or opportunity to receive it.

  • 85% of our students have increased scores in reading comprehension this year

  • 90% of our students have increased scores in mathematics this year

  • Many of our students came to B.E. Academy reading below their grade level and are making great progress.

  • Our girls get exclusive opportunities through our partnerships with Amazon, Play Like a Girl, SRM Concrete, The Nashville Symphony, Girls Scouts of Middle Tennessee, NEW Consulting and more!

We are building a coalition of support for Nashville girls.
